How betpro id Came to Be
It started with a frustration that many Pakistani sports fans know well. You want to bet on cricket — on a Pakistan match, in Pakistani Rupees, using the payment apps you already use every day — and almost every option available forces you through foreign currency conversions, requires international bank cards most Pakistanis do not have, or offers a game library that feels designed for someone in a completely different country.
The founders of betpro id were Pakistani players themselves before they were platform builders. They had lived the experience of settling for platforms that treated Pakistan as a secondary market — slow support, no Easypaisa, no Teen Patti, no interface that made sense for how people in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, or Peshawar actually use their phones. So they decided to build something different.
betpro id launched in 2019 as a small operation with a focused product: a sports betting platform that accepted Easypaisa and JazzCash from day one, priced in PKR end to end, and prioritised cricket above all else. The response from Pakistani players was immediate and enthusiastic. Within the first year, the player base grew far beyond initial projections, driven entirely by word of mouth from players who had found, finally, a platform that actually worked for them.
The casino section came next. Pakistan has a rich tradition of card games — Teen Patti is played at family gatherings across the country, and Andar Bahar has deep roots in Pakistani card culture. betpro id built its live casino section around these games first, before adding international classics like Baccarat, Roulette, and Blackjack. The philosophy has always been: start with what Pakistani players actually love, then expand from there.
